Building the Bridge

Why do we often feel that to start fresh, we need a total reset? Many believe that beginning a new venture means abandoning the current one. We become so focused on the leap that we overlook the bridge, the link that carries us from where we are to where we’re headed.

The bridge matters. There is so much power in thinking big and acting small. It’s the path that allows us to think big while taking small, deliberate actions. how do we build a bridge? Brick by brick. Where in our lives can we get more intentional, if only slightly, about what we are building?

‘Be consistent’ I was advised. Well, how does consistency even help? What does it really mean? How can we pursue our dreams steadily without burning out?

We need to be consistent, because consistency, builds consistency. It’s funny, how being consistent is easier when you’re more consistent.

Are you fed up with the word consistent?

Consistency isn’t just about daily repetition; it’s about commitment. It’s the discipline to show up, the drive to keep moving forward, regardless of our mood. Small actions taken with regularity generate momentum. Over time, these actions compound, leading to substantial results.

Building the bridge is about small, steady steps toward our bigger goals. The beauty is that, over time, these steps bring us to a new version of ourselves — without a drastic leap. We become by doing, little by little, every day.

So, how can you start embodying your dream self today? What small practices could you add to your routine to bring you closer to the person you want to be? How can we become a person of consistency?
